Did you miss Debby Ryan in  RADIO REBEL when it aired on Disney? Or did you like it so much that you want to pick it up on DVD or watch it again on VOD?  Well, good news kiddos because Image Entertainment will release the movie on June 19th and we have all the details for you below.

From the Press Release:

CHATSWORTH, CA – Image Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB: DISK) is proud to announce the release of “Radio Rebel,” a huge ratings hit for the Disney Channel, that will be released on DVD and digital download June 19th,, 2012, at an SRP of $27.97.  Pre-book date is May 22, 2012.  Starring teen sensation Debby Ryan (“Jessie,”16 Wishes), “Radio Rebel” premiered on The Disney Channel as cable’s #1 scripted telecast in its time period in total viewers (4.3MM); it was also the #1 telecast of the night for kids 2-14.  Bonus material includes five new featurettes and Debby Ryan’s hot music video, “We Got The Beat.”

To everyone in her home town, Tara Adams (Debby Ryan) is just an ordinary high school junior, except for one thing … she has a secret identity.  Truth is, she’s actually Radio Rebel, the most popular DJ in Seattle! In person, Tara is a nondescript, socially under-the-radar, teenager; but get her behind the mic and she becomes Radio Rebel, the coolest personality on the air!  This unique status is desperately in need at the moment as her school is in the midst of a clique-crisis. Radio Rebel gives voice to all kids, popular and unpopular alike, and she publicly questions the status quo, which does not sit well with the principal who is determined to uncover Radio Rebel’s true identity. On top of all that, mean girl Stacy (Merritt Patterson, “Kyle XY”) is intent on coming between Tara and cute boy Gavin (Adam DiMarco, “The Haunting Hour”). As push comes to shove, Tara must decide between keeping her alter ego a secret, or being true to herself:  a choice with major repercussions.
