Hey gang! I’ve received my January Geek Fuel Monthly Mystery Box and I wanted to share my thoughts and some pics with all of you. First of all, what is Geek Fuel? This is a monthly mystery subscription service that comes in a cool box full of pop culture themed merchandise. Each box contains 5-6 items. January’s Geek Fuel themes include The Flash, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Resident Evil and more!

Witness the unboxing!

This month’s issue of the Geek Fuel mag #12 covers all kinds of geeky pop culture news. The January issue features The Flash on the cover and has a cool article inside about the continuation of season two. The mag also includes features linked to every item included inside the box plus a highlight of the Jakku Comic-Con. On top of this, there’s also a cosplay feature this month, the ultimate gift guide, subscriber spotlights, plus a look at the rest of the neat merchandise inside the box.

Up next is the 8-Bit Breath Savers and Collectible Tin from the Nintendo eShop. Subscribers either got a Mario or Link tin and as you can see I received the Link tin. By the way, the candy tastes kind of like Smarties which are really good. I’m guessing this is a $5.00 value.

Geek Fuel never forgets about the gaming community and always includes a downloadable game each month. January included the Metro Warp Downloadable Game and I know just who to pass this one along to. This is a $10.00 value.

What’s inside the box, part one? At first I thought Geek Fuel was proposing to me, instead Resident Evil is representing this month! The Umbrella Corporation is having a blood drive and if you donate some blood to help them further their interest in bio-weapons, you get this awesome pin! This is a $10.00 value.

What’s inside the box, part two? Join the Starlabs team and get this awesome coffee mug! Fans of The Flash will enjoy drinking out of this mug. Instead of Starbucks we get Starlabs, I get it! Approx. a $12.00 value. Like what you see so far? Subscribe HERE and when you do, you get a bonus mystery item!

We’re still celebrating the release and huge success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens here at ABHQ and our pals at Geek Fuel have thrown in this awesome 11×17 print that teases the Jakku Comic-Con experience. I’m digging the artwork and this baby is getting framed pronto!  I’m guessing this is a $10.00 value.

Check out the cool “A Brief History of Time Travel” t-shirt that was included this month. The Time Machine, Doctor Who, Back to the Future, The Terminator and even Hot Tub Time Machine are all represented here. The navy blue t-shirt is thick cotton Gildan and the screen printing looks really cool up close. These tees would probably cost between $15.00-$25.00 somewhere else (like the mall or Hot Topic) so this is a really good deal and also my favorite part about this subscription box. When you subscribe, you simply let Geek Fuel know what size shirt you wear – it’s that easy! Subscribe HERE so you can get cool tees like these plus a bonus mystery item.

As you can see this subscription service is really cool and it’s always a lot of fun opening up and going through everything. The January Geek Fuel Monthly Mystery Box included $62.00-$72.00 worth of geeky cool merchandise. A monthly Geek Fuel subscription only costs $17.90 + $6.00 shipping. Right now Geek Fuel ships to the US, Canada and the UK via USPS. They also offer a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month subscription deal that cuts down on your cost.

Bottom line is, Geek Fuel continues to be one of the premiere Sub Box services and has something fun for nerds and geeks of all ages all around the world. The box is made of durable cardboard and I always like the way everything is packaged with care. There’s even cool Geek Fuel wrapping paper.  Also, remember when you subscribe to use this link geekfuel.com/alienbee because you get a bonus mystery item. Keep your eyes peeled every month because we’re always teasing what Geek Fuel has in store next for their subscribers!
