GEEK FUEL Review: February 2017

Hey gang! I’ve received the Geek Fuel Mystery Box for February and I wanted to share my thoughts and some pics with all of you. First of all, what is Geek Fuel? This is a monthly mystery subscription service that comes in a cool box full of pop culture themed merchandise. Each box contains 5-6 items. February’s Geek Fuel features all exclusives plus there’s a chance for subscribers to win an awesome prize.

Witness the unboxing!

The February Geek Fuel Mystery Box includes the nice oversized lobby card that shows you everything that you’ll be getting this month. There’s images and descriptions of each item included inside the box.

Behold the goodies!

This month’s issue of the Geek Fuel mag #25 has video game legend Zelda on the cover and an article inside featuring the brand new Nintendo Switch. The mag also includes a spotlight on this month’s steam game, Archibald’s Adventure. The mag also includes a feature for each of the exclusive items inside the box, gamer corner, cosplay, another ultimate gift guide and subscriber spotlights. See if you made it in this month’s issue!

Bruce! Check out this awesome “Hero in Training” 11×17 art print. Batman fans are sure to dig this awesome item and I’m definitely getting a frame for mine. It also comes with a COA. And yes, it came rolled up in its own super cute cylinder! This is approx a $9.95 value.

Up next is Archibald’s Adventure, the downloadable steam game that Geek Fuel is offering this month. The neat thing about Geek Fuel is that they throw in a new game every month. This one is a $5.00 value.

This month’s Epic Enamels Pin is a fun Stranger Edition that’s a mashup between Stranger Things and Geek Fuel’s very own mascot. The pin comes on its own retro cool card. Some subscribers will get the rare Upside Down World pin (#/500) and others will get Real World, like me. There’s also an ultra rare Upside Down Will and there’s only one of these bad boys (#/1). This is priceless since it’s Geek Fuel’s exclusive mascot but most enamel pins run around the $5.00 range. Like what you see so far? Subscribe HERE and when you do, you get a bonus mystery item!

Next up is this awesome 8-Bit Sword Portable Charger. Zelda fans are going to love this item and even the matching box is cool! This thing sure will come in handy the next time I’m stuck somewhere without power. It also comes with its own cord. Click on the images to super-size them. This is approx a $19.95 value.

Check out this cool Nuka-World Amusements t-shirt! The super soft maroon t-shirt is thick cotton Gildan and the screen printing looks really cool up close. The back also gets a cool thumbs up! These tees would probably cost between $15.00-$25.00 somewhere else (like the mall or Hot Topic) so this is a really good deal and continues to be my favorite part about this subscription box. When you subscribe, you simply let Geek Fuel know what size shirt you wear – it’s that easy! Subscribe HERE so you can get cool tees like these plus a bonus mystery item.

A Prize Ticket! Subscribers also get a chance this month to enter a contest for a chance to win an awesome prize and more. You have to visit Geek Fuel’s designated website and enter your ticket number to see if you’re a winner.

Okay, the February box ended up being a nice one that gamers will really enjoy. The February Geek Fuel Mystery Box included approximately $55.00-$65.00 of merchandise and they were all exclusive items.  A monthly Geek Fuel subscription only costs $17.90 + $6.00 shipping. Right now Geek Fuel ships to the US, Canada and the UK via USPS. They also offer a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month subscription deal that cuts down on your cost.

Bottom line is, Geek Fuel continues to be one of the premiere Sub Box services and has something fun for nerds and geeks of all ages all around the world. The box is made of durable cardboard and I always like the way everything is packaged with care. They always go the extra mile for their subscribers! Also, remember when you subscribe to use this link geekfuel.com/alienbee because you get a bonus mystery item. Keep your eyes peeled every month because we’re always teasing what Geek Fuel has in store next for their subscribers!
