GEEK FUEL Review: December 2016

Hey gang! I’ve received my Geek Fuel Mystery Box for December and I wanted to share my thoughts and some pics with all of you. First of all, what is Geek Fuel? This is a monthly mystery subscription service that comes in a cool box full of pop culture themed merchandise. Each box contains 5-6 items. December’s Geek Fuel includes items from Robocop, Star Wars, Thor, Harry Potter, and more.

Witness the unboxing!

The December Geek Fuel Mystery Box includes the nice oversized lobby card that shows you everything that you’ll be getting this month. There’s images and descriptions of each item included inside the box.

Behold the goodies!

This month’s issue of the Geek Fuel mag #23 has Rogue One gracing the cover and a breakdown of what’s to come inside. The mag also includes a spotlight on the featured game, Caveman Craig . The mag also includes a feature for each of the exclusive items inside the box, gamer corner, cosplay, another ultimate gift guide and subscriber spotlights. See if you made it in this month’s issue!

Check out this awesome The World According to Thor hardcover book from Insight Editions. Insight hands down cranks the coolest and most unique brand of books and I can proudly say that I have an arsenal of them. There’s all kinds of cool special features inside these books! Subscribers will get either a Thor or Iron Man book in their box. This is a $24.95 value.

Up next is Caveman Craig, the downloadable steam game that Geek Fuel is offering this month. The neat thing about Geek Fuel is that they throw in a new game every month. This one is a $10.00 value.

Geek Fuel’s very own mascot is playing R2-D2. Droid Edition G2F2. I dig the classic card that definitely reminds me of the vintage Star Wars figures. Some subscribers will get a red pin and others will get a blue one. I got a blue one, as you can see. This is priceless since it’s Geek Fuel’s exclusive mascot but most enamel pins run around the $5.00 range. Like what you see so far? Subscribe HERE and when you do, you get a bonus mystery item!

How about some Wizard Wear? Geek Fuel also threw in this neat winter scarf that Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts fans will enjoy. Check out the classic Gryfinndor colors! It even comes in its own thin cardboard treasure chest. This is approx a $15.00 value.

Geek Fuel threw in some exclusive wrapping paper for subscribers to use last December and they’ve done the same this year.  The value is priceless because it’s Geek Fuel’s very own exclusive wrapping paper. You can’t buy this in stores!

We all remember this awesome line from Robocop. “Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply. You now have 15 seconds to comply. You are in direct violation of Penal Code 1.13, Section 9. You have 5 seconds to comply. 4. 3. 2. 1. I am now authorized to use physical force.” Now ED-209 has his very own t-shirt. The men’s indigo (or women’s light blue) t-shirt is thick cotton Gildan and the screen printing looks really cool up close. These tees would probably cost between $15.00-$25.00 somewhere else (like the mall or Hot Topic) so this is a really good deal and continues to be my favorite part about this subscription box. When you subscribe, you simply let Geek Fuel know what size shirt you wear – it’s that easy! Subscribe HERE so you can get cool tees like these plus a bonus mystery item.

Okay, the December box ended up being a cool one and I really dig the ED-209 shirt. The December Geek Fuel Mystery Box included approximately $70.00-$80.00 of merchandise and half of them were exclusive items.  A monthly Geek Fuel subscription only costs $17.90 + $6.00 shipping. Right now Geek Fuel ships to the US, Canada and the UK via USPS. They also offer a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month subscription deal that cuts down on your cost.

Bottom line is, Geek Fuel continues to be one of the premiere Sub Box services and has something fun for nerds and geeks of all ages all around the world. The box is made of durable cardboard and I always like the way everything is packaged with care.  Also, remember when you subscribe to use this link geekfuel.com/alienbee because you get a bonus mystery item. Keep your eyes peeled every month because we’re always teasing what Geek Fuel has in store next for their subscribers!
