DVD Review: DRIVE-IN HORRORSHOW

Director Michael Neel‘s Drive-In Horrorshow reminds me of Creepshow, Tales From the Crupt or even The Twilight Zone with two key elements that I love, the drive-in and horror.

This micro-budget anthology has a lot of heart and has five fun segments including the awesome wrap around. There’s plenty of blood, gore and humor in the stories with a monster or two that I thought looked cool. The acting in some segments was sub-par but there is also some standouts as well..

Definitely the “host” in the wrap around is the strongest part and most entertaining in the movie! the soundtrack is also fun to listen to in the background as all the craziness is going on.

Bottom line is if you’re looking for a fun, low budget horror anthology to watch then check out Drive-In Horrorshow.  2.5/5
